For those looking for variety, the "snow" offer is one of the most comprehensive and extends between the Dolomites of Veneto and Trentino: 40 km from the ski area of San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle; 70 km away (Falcade-San Pellegrino and the ski area Civetta). From the refuge you can make excursions on foot, either on quieter paths that cross the Sovramonte plateau or through more demanding routes, such as the Alta Via 2 of the Belluno Dolomites Park. For adventurers, the favorable air currents of Monte Avena are the ideal starting point for flights of paragliding or hang gliding.
